Dental prosthetics
The dental prosthetics is a device created to replace missing teeth or lower or upper jaw structure which has the aspect of natural teeth. The dental prosthetics is an important part of stomatology that deals with reconstructing teeth, both aesthetically and functionally.
Types of dental prosthetics
There are complete or total dental prosthetics when you must replace natural teeth on a dental arch.
There are also partial prosthetics when you need to replace at least one tooth. There prosthetics ensure the continuity of the teeth on a dental arch and don’t allow them to move. They can be easily removed as they are fixed on the remaining of the natural teeth.
The mobile prosthetics are well-known, and they are the best choice when all teeth are missing on the upper or lower jaw. They need to be removed daily for oral hygiene.
